Board of Directors

Bill Fathers, Chairman

Over the past 20 years, Bill has held a variety of executive leadership and board positions in the digital infrastructure sector across data centers, cloud services and software. In addition, Bill also currently serves as a Senior Operating Partner, responsible for digital infrastructure investments at Stonepeak, a private equity firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets. Bill was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Cologix. Prior to Cologix, Bill was the Executive Vice President of Cloud Services at VMware and previously served as President of Savvis, a public data center and cloud infrastructure provider. Bill also served on the Board of Directors of Ciena, euNetworks and Telx, a leading cross-connection and colocation platform. Bill is a former British Army Officer and holds a Master of Arts in Engineering from Cambridge University.

Laura Ortman, Cologix Director

Laura was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Cologix in 2022 after serving as the company’s President and Chief Revenue Officer since 2018. Laura has over 25 years of experience in cloud and technology global leadership focused on GTM strategy, revenue growth, global customer success, sales and account management, and revenue and client relationship management. Laura was EVP and Chief Customer Officer at Equinix, and prior she spent nine years at VMware, overseeing the Cloud Services business as co-General Manager and Vice President. Laura held global IT and technical support teams for Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, and served various technical and global leadership positions at Lockheed Martin. Laura is also on the board of Digital Edge DC. Laura holds an MBA in Information Systems from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Marketing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she played collegiate tennis.

Cyrus Gentry, Cologix Director

Cyrus is a Managing Director and Head of Communications, Europe with Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners and is involved with Astound, Cologix, euNetworks & Delta Fiber. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Cyrus was a Principal at BC Partners, focusing on investments in the industrials and telecommunications sectors. Cyrus also has additional investing and transaction experience across a broad range of sectors while at Advent International and J.P. Morgan. Cyrus holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and is on the Board of Trustees for the South Street Seaport Museum.

Matthew Falkner, Cologix Director

Matthew is a Vice President on the investment team at GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund. He joined GIC in 2019 and serves as co-head of Americas data centers and co-head of Americas real estate credit. Prior to joining GIC, he worked in the real estate structured credit group at Bank of America. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Georgetown University.

Jameson Weber, Cologix Director

Jameson Weber is a Managing Director and Head of Americas with QuadReal Property Group. Prior to joining QuadReal, Jameson was a Vice President and part of the founding team at Hightower (now VTS), a leading real estate technology company, where he was responsible for both product strategy and business development. Previously, he held senior positions at Oaktree Capital Management and Cerberus Capital Management where he focused on equity and debt investments in commercial real estate and corporate real estate and securities. Prior to that he worked in the real estate group at Morgan Stanley. Jameson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
