ESG at Cologix

Sustainability is an ongoing commitment at Cologix. Our ESG roadmap guides how we strengthen environmental performance, invest in our people and uphold responsible governance. Each year, our ESG Report shares the progress we've made, the goals we're pursuing and the accountability that drives continuous improvement across our data centers and business operations.

Environmental

Cologix is committed to operating its data centers in an environmentally responsible manner. As a leading colocation and interconnection data center provider, we recognize the importance of minimizing our environmental impact and continuously improving our sustainability efforts.

In 2025, we reached 67% carbon-free energy across our footprint, up from 45% in 2020. We also achieved ISO 14001 certification across our operational footprint, opened MTL8 in Montréal as one of the first LEED® Gold-certified colocation data centers in Canada and reported to CDP for the first time.

Social

Our people are the foundation of our success. We are committed to creating a workplace where employees feel supported, connected and empowered to grow throughout their careers. Through employee resource groups, learning opportunities and professional development programs, we foster a culture of belonging, encourage continuous growth and help our people build meaningful careers.

In 2025, we expanded our five pillar Wellbeing Program and launched our first Summer Intern Program. We also believe in making a positive impact beyond the workplace by encouraging participation in our Volunteer Outreach Leave Time program (VOLT) and Cologix Cares, our community giving initiative.

Governance

For Cologix, good governance and a commitment to ethics, integrity and trust have been at the heart of our company from the beginning.

In 2025, we maintained 100% compliance across ISO 27001, ISO 14001, SOC 1 and SOC 2, HIPAA and PCI-DSS at all data centers. Our ESG Committee met more than 12 times, completed a comprehensive double materiality assessment with input from both employees and key external stakeholders, and used it to refresh our 2030 ESG Roadmap. We align our disclosures with SASB, TCFD, CDP and the ISSB’s IFRS S1 and S2 standards.
